Taking part in an Encouraged Conversation whether asking or answering the questions, or just listening in to the conversations is proving to be a positive experience for all concerned. Some typical comments are:

Secondary school teacher
I thought it was great, the kids loved being able to see their questions being answered and they engaged really well with the conversations. I think a lot of them had their perspectives changed from listening which is great and is part of what I was trying to achieve.

Conversation participants
It was a great thing to be part of. All four of us enjoyed the session and we feel we got something from it also.

A farmer listening to ‘Being a Farmer in the Heart of Scotland’
I thought it was wonderful, a window into our world and capturing the best of farming and farmers and some of the challenges. The farmers involved are great and the ease of the conversation is a real positive, perhaps the soft simple questions help. In short it lifted my spirits in part because it is a positive experience but also it shines a light on the people, their lives and values.
